He is my leader in the union.
One of my mates got right into him in a meeting in Liverpool, believe it or not some of the members thought he was to soft with the Government/rail, companies,
Any way they had a bit of a spat, Then after the meeting ,
Mike Lynch came over to him and said I understand your frustration , come and have a drink with me.
My mate said he was a really decent fella , good company and basically what you see is what you get , loves him

Met Mick a few times when I was an LDC rep for the union, he's as sharp as a tack and probably one of the soundest guys I've ever had the pleasure of talking with. I also was in meetings that were "chaired" by Boris Johnson.

Night and day, that one is venerated by the media and excused for fundamentally being a work shy, ill informed, lazy muppet and the other is treated as the anti-christ tells me everything I need to know about the people behind the British press.

British society as well. Stick a posh voice on someone and people go weak at the knees.
