It's just nonsense though, who's it deterring?

The UK Govt spend about £1200 Billion a year on stuff.

I get the view about not liking nukes, thats fine. But the cost of them is a weak argument. Like, it would mean the destruction of thousands of jobs, and most likely the death of Barrow in Furness, for a political dogma.

Heard that before somewhere.

As said, we're not going to solve everything by getting shut of the nuclear fleet of subs. But it'd save £3B alone in up keeping them each year. That's the annual budget of 3 large hospitals per year. If those new generation subs to be phased in by the 2030s are scrapped then that's a handful more hospitals financed for the next few years.

I know what I think is more sensible between having a hospital running or a submarine at sea every day whose use is no value to anyone.

Under Labour we wont have to choose.

Sir Keir will deliver it all.

Building networks for a new party. And in the meantime voting for any socialist party they may have in their constituency of voting Green.

And more importantly how many more seats will Labour win Dave ? Great to have a higher membership, I'll admit....but greater still to be in power and being able to change things for the better. Oh sorry, I forgot, you think it's better shouting from the back benches and achieving Nothing, silly me.

Its what you do with power that matters...unless you're a career box ticker like Starmer, in which case attaining it is the end that justifies the means.

There's very little to recommend this Starmer Party to any socialist.

So you're saying the Green party is a Socialist party ? And that's why you're voting for them. Oh and tell me Dave, when was the last Socialist party in power in our Country, was it led by Harold Wilson ? And this is from a man who in 1988 with my wife who worked there also spent over a year on strike over low pay. So I do know a little about Socialism Dave.
