Another of the brightest and best who went to uni in the glory days of 20+ years ago...

It's actually weird how it looks literally nothing like her today. It's like in the Roald Dahl book The Twits, about how ugly thoughts make you an ugly person. It's the only explanation for how you go from a regular-looking girl at 18 or so, to Pork Markets.

I'd say she'd cry herself to sleep looking at that picture of her own youth, but there's no way she's got the awareness to do so.

She may have 'lived for free'... free accommodation, free bills, free education etc...

That's the problem... nothing is free. What she had for free, was paid for by somebody else. Probably paid for by many people who are far worse off financially than she is.

Wages have gone up for them, significantly, but so have their deductions. Good. Pay for your own way! Pay for your own education. Pay for your own retirement. Pay your own bills!

Entitled parasite.

Shame the people you vote for don’t share your mentality.

They’re the parasites amongst us.

You’re a cuck for the biggest bunch of scroungers this country has ever seen.

They laugh at people like you.

Yes, I have respect for doctors.

I just think the state (taxpayers) should only pay for 'free' education until you finish school. After that, fund your own education.

20 years ago, I'd have thought differently. But, back then, only the best and brightest could go to university, so 'free' education made sense. It was money well spent by the tax-payer for the greater good.

Now, higher education has, for the most part, become a business. Useless courses, high fees, and student accommodation...
The tweet shows the stark reality of Britain 2023. Im sure this applies across many work types all levels both public sector and private. Simply work does not pay in the UK for the vast majority of people now. Probably the most educated we have ever been too, so an education is no guarantee of good pay either.

Announcing policy off the cuff then having to reel back when the full implications are assessed causing tonnes of stress to thousands of people.
Yet the likes of Cleverly keep unapologetically strolling on thinking they are somehow capable and deserving of their roles. If he had any decency he’d resign.
[Poor language removed] idiot

“We’ve got children with bowed legs because they’re so deficient in vitamins. We’ve had children so malnourished they’ve had heart murmurs,” said Hunter, a headteacher at West Earlham infant and nursery school in Norwich.

Parasitic children with their free education, I suppose they want parents who can afford to feed them now aswell, pathetic.

Is he another one who attended university in the golden age of only the brightest and best being allowed in?

Hospitality management studies degree according to Wikipedia. You'd think with such a practical useful degree he'd be quite good at managing stuff.

Maybe that generation were a bit thick overall, so standards dropped a little? Yes, that must be it. Nothing to do with being privately educated little gits coached to get into higher education who think they're geniuses, but aren't. Definitely not.
