Was that real?! Genuinely thought it was a funny meme.
And a day after calling a servant of the nhs a cretin, we have yet another example of this nasty piece of works relentless tirade on behalf of the tories. She may have 'lived for free'... free accommodation, free bills, free education etc...
That's the problem... nothing is free. What she had for free, was paid for by somebody else. Probably paid for by many people who are far worse off financially than she is.
Wages have gone up for them, significantly, but so have their deductions. Good. Pay for your own way! Pay for your own education. Pay for your own retirement. Pay your own bills!
Entitled parasite.
You do realise this is a Doctor you are talking about, right?Entitled parasite.
You are the parasite, a retired right wing bigot living on his comfy pension that cost you significantly less than the junior doctor who is more talented than you, worked harder than you and contributed more than you. You've pulled the ladder up behind you and played an active part in destroying the upcoming generations future. She may have 'lived for free'... free accommodation, free bills, free education etc...

Have some respect.

Yes, I have respect for doctors.
I just think the state (taxpayers) should only pay for 'free' education until you finish school. After that, fund your own education.
20 years ago, I'd have thought differently. But, back then, only the best and brightest could go to university, so 'free' education made sense. It was money well spent by the tax-payer for the greater good.
Now, higher education has, for the most part, become a business. Useless courses, high fees, and student accommodation...
But the man is right and the lack of apprenticeships in this country is a disgrace. Let’s all go to uni when most of us aren’t really qualified to other than by diluted 18 yr old exams.Wouldn’t usually pull this card, but after that rant, about paying your own way and nothing is for free, can’t help but notice you’re not a forum supporter, so are allowing others to pay for it, while utilising the benefits, parasitically.
