Think Sunak’s plan is clearly to take this bill to parliament next week, where it will likely be defeated - and he will then call an election and try to make it a single issue election ala brexit…and accuse labour of blocking his plans on Rwanda.

Unfortunately for him I don’t think there’s any chance this election will be won over a single issue and the tories are royally screwed.

Imagine, after effing up every single aspect of the country for 13 years during the worst government tenure in history, hanging it all on "stopping the boats"

I am not sure who is worse, them, or those who vote for such nonsense

I hope Labour's response to this is something along the lines of, "Sunak has a large Parliamentary majority. He should not need to call upon the Opposition to support him in a vote. Doing so shows how deeply divided the Conservative Party is. We ask them again to call a General Election."

That'll get through. There wont be enough rebels to take that down. He may be embarrassed by a revolt, but it won't be defeated.

As much as keeping the crazies on the Tory back benches sweet his game with this is to position 'Labour' as weak if they abstain or vote against it. Thats a tactic to share up blue wall waverers who might look at the Thatcherite leader of the opposition and be dissuaded to vote Tory next year and stay at home, or to actually vote 'Labour'.

So there was a scandal called the Windrush scandal where an 'environment of hostility' was created against minorities. gb citizens were caught up in this disgrace and in some cases deported, often to places such as Jamaica. With the same government on the cusp of something very similar in terms of deporting minorities this time to Rwanda, has the compensation scheme for the victims of the Windrush scandal been completed in full as yet?

You know, instead of starting a new fire, dealing with the cataclysm of racism and stupidity that was lit yesterday....

Yeah, so along the same lines of previous regards compensation, the tainted blood fiasco still aint been addressed...
then the posturing around the Hillsborough law decision...

How are these so considered ministers allowed to decide what's best on their subsidised menu let alone what's best for a nation. Out with these tory pigdogs!
