Its been increasing exponentially in the last 50-60 years, facilitated by a lack of regulation and continued lurches to the right and beliefs that markets are self correcting due to (imagined) competition.
I'm open to your thoughts on what is admittedly an extremely broad and complex topic. I have no doubt there are many areas of it I don't understand.

Personally I want as little state / government intervention / control in / of my life as possible. As far as “honest “ money goes. Look at the debt levels before and after we left the gold standard. As I said, no system is perfect and power will corrupt, so eventually every system will need to collapse and renew. But the real game has always been the control of money, money creation, printing it, and controlling its flows. Political parties are a sideshow to keep the masses amused.
Finding “honest” money under late-stage capitalism must be like trying to find a unicorn in a herd of sheep.

Also the collapse is literally already happening in-front of everyone’s eyes. I swear if I could delete one thing from reality it would be stock / the stock market.
Nothing to do with the stock market. It’s the bond market, the government debt market. Keep an eye on that US 10 year yield, it’ll keep rising until something big breaks. And then what? Then we will see which path we are on. Deflation or hyper inflation.

I hate the younger ones alot more than the old ones.
Similar to me they have spent their entire adult lives and/or teenage years under a Tory government and have seen the destruction it has caused to the country.
And yet still choose to support them, I don't think they are stupid, they know exactly what they are choosing and the impact it will have on society and people's lives.
Callous little scumbags the lot of them.
