When your elderly parents can’t afford to heat their homes whilst illegal immigrants are being put up in 5 star hotels, you have every right to feel angry.

When your children can’t get a place at your local school, because the children of illegal immigrants are being given priority, you have every right to feel angry.

When your 20 something Son or Daughter can’t get a foot on the property ladder, because illegal immigrants are being given priority in the housing queue, you have every right to feel angry.

When you can’t get a GP or hospital appointment, because of the huge waiting lists, due to the number of illegal immigrants who are also in the queue, you have every right to feel angry.

It is not racist to complain about illegal immigration, it is realist.

Britain is full.
It is pure ignorance, everything you have stated is complete ignorance.

You have been gaslight into racism. You are supporting racists who caused everyone of those issues with greed and corruption and told you to blame foreign people, which you have gleefully decided to do.

it is racist to blame those issues on illegal migration though when it’s actually the fault of failed government.

Still can’t believe that people still don’t realise that these politicians of supposedly differing shades on the political spectrum are all working for the same bosses.

It’s like when you get people saying ‘we should be spending more money on helping the homeless instead of migrants’ whilst at the same time voting for a party that have been actively cutting public spending.
It’s not like this government has to choose between helping people who are struggling or migrants.

The time is coming when whatever government is in power is going to have to choose what I can spend money on other than the interest on the national debt.
I’m not sure if most people realise how financially broke we are, or the majority of the planet is at this moment.

I'm personally not especially phased by immigration numbers, once the climate crisis really bites and the numbers are in one direction it will may be an unsolvable crisis.

But, folk are happy to vote for the party who increases immigration numbers, reduces services and is happy to exacerbate the climate crisis for their own ends. How these folk are so easily tricked into hating on immigrants you would hope is just ignorance and not something more sinister.

Immigration has gone up under this government. Its their policy. As far back as Osborne it was acknowledged the only way to get the tax take and employees need to mitigate our 'indigenous' ageing population was inwards migration.

Now, if schools, housing and hospitals etc. are government responsibility to plan for, fund and ensure adequate capacity to meet the populations needs, whose fault is that?

13 years they've had to deal with it. Own your policy mistakes.

Is this the moment for capitalism? All empires have historically eaten themselves through greed, corruption and short sightedness from those at the top.
Why should capitalism be any different?

You'll need to provide examples of this happening beyond anecdotes.

It's fine to have concerns about the levels of illegal immigration, but it isnt fine to blame immigrants for the countries problems.

Who knows what’s at the other end but I believe we are going into a very dark time. When the economies around the world start to crumble, which they are, who knows what comes after. But regardless of the system, people are people and no system is perfect because of that. Given a choice I’d pick capitalism over any other system offered.

We've seen those at the top extend their take from the world and reduce their contribution massively over the 50 years. This has allowed national debts to rise and seen public influence extended to issues that otherwise would seen global co-operation due to common sense and scientifc and economic consensus. All of this has been allowed thanks to free market and capatalist ideologies.

Really? Look at the state of late-stage capitalism - due to rampant consumerism and giving too much power to corporations the environment is screwed, the wealth gap is larger than ever, and as you pointed out most countries are on the verge of bankruptcy.

At this point socialism is pretty much required, even more so with the advent of AI and robotics which are going to take absolute tonnes of both blue and white collar jobs. Universal basic income will be pretty much a requirement unless we just have a system where the majority of the population are literally on the breadline.

You don’t understand free markets or capitalism if you believe that. And this has been going on a lot longer than 50 years.

I disagree, what’s needed is “honest” money.
