Exactly, it's been peddled by the usual funded people from Tufton street that Net Zero is expensive and causing our bills to rise.

Unfortunately the recent by election in Boris's old seat saw some pushback on ULEZ and now the Tory party are embracing that with this latest move.
I don't think it's the vote winner they think it is...think most of the public are more pro green policies than the right wing cranks on Twitter suggest

They're clutching at straws. His majority was shashed to practically nothing in a tory safe seat. It's just so depressing that they're hanging on to it and taking us all down with them. Disgraceful, but expected from that lot.

Fossil Fuel industry- yay.
Tufton Street - yay.
The Sun and The Daily Mail - yay.
Climate change deniers and right wing cranks - yay.

Rest of world and any potential investors in the UK - What an absolute basket case that place is. Let's take our money elsewhere.

Get these tossers out now. There is no depth to which they won't sink in order to try and cling to power.

Those tory voters with multiple rental properties can breath easy, no big outlay yet. Plus they get a ton of help with these heat pumps. All the while I am sure his family's business will do well out of the added time for selling petrol and getting maximum time.out of those new licences in the North Sea.
Interested to see who is gonna financially benefit with the green light for onshore windfarms.

Today is nothing more than a bribe.

Heard an interesting interview earlier today on instagram funnily enough, it was a Kay Burley clip interviewing some Tory mp, can’t recall who, and it was about ULEZ. Now, sadik Kahn has been hammered by people about this but the actual policy was originally a Tory policy introduced by non other than the useless blob Boris Johnson back when he was mayor of London… was great to see the MP stuttering for excuses… as an aside, the policy was roundly backed by the party

That is true. Cities were told to measure the air quality, and do stuff if it was bad. Happened in Bristol as well.

Conveniently forgotten by most now
It's an easy points winner for Labour

Sunak. Ulez your killing the hopes and aspirations of London folk.
Starmer. Remind me again who brought it in?

Could even go on to say, since the pushback on ev vehicles, your saying londeners have 5 extra years of it.
