You are just trolling yourself now.

Here’s a tip.....good trolls are hit and run merchants.

You see when you into all all that over explaining.....the game is up.

:pint2:

Genuinely not trolling. Perhaps you've never had the misfortune of being in a similar situation and I sincerely hope you haven't and never will.

He gets a rough ride from the media, I'll give you that, especially from the Tory press. Complaining that someone isn't dressed properly is scraping the barrel, never mind the Czech spy smear campaign. I don't think it's a matter of the average joe disliking him as such, more his ideas.

The reason I believe he will not get into government is because of the historical context. The western world swung to the right in the early 80s when Reagan and Thatcher came to power. The Left moved further to the left and as a result were unable to regain power for many years until they recaptured the middle ground. I hope I am wrong but I fear that history is now repeating itself.

That’s what we were told, that the right won the culture wars and that we all had to be like them.

The reality was that those Western states who went in for community, into sharing the nations wealth (like the Norwegians with their bit of North Sea Oil), who helped modernise their manufacturing and transport links and who invested in their youth during the 80s and 90s are all in better places than we are.

Of course we have all been told something different, that it’s the EU or migrants who are to blame.

I think they did mate, besides didn't he have the support of hundreds of thousands of members?

Yeah, the only people yearning for Corbyn to be removed as leader were the MPs who wanted to continue with Tory policies. Meanwhile the rest of us wanted a real Labour Party back.

Actually, polling shows people are unbelievably in favour of most of Labour´s ideas.

When you say the middle ground, you mean austerity and increasing levels of homelessness across the country with food banks going through the roof? Because that´s what ´moderate´ Tory MPs have inflicted upon the country. The centre is a myth created by those who want to keep the status quo.

No I don't mean that. I mean your average floating voter who are the people who determine the outcome of elections. But you probably knew that anyway.

If you take the average person through the majority of the policies one by one they tend to support them . If you list them in the daily mail under a headline about how hamas supporting corbyn wants to nationalise your cocoa or whatever then less so .

No. No it isn’t.

Who gets to define the centre ground? The media and I would class them as figureheads of the establishment.
What an absolutely daft argument. On that basis we could say that the Morning Star is a figurehead of the establishment. The political centre is represented in other countries which shows that it does in fact, exist, just because there are no mainstream parties that actually fit that definition within our own system doesn’t mean it isn’t there.
