Boris would take no crap from the EU, and then hand Labour a certain victory in the next election, not hard to understand my thinking being keen to tell the EU to shove it and wanting Labour in power asap.
ah I thought you meant shoeing as in take an utter beating. I'm also desperate for this tory party to be out, seeing the pain and damage they have gleefully cause is heartbreaking. Not sure I'd ever gamble (not that I've a say in it) the country being in Boris's hands, and I also don't see anything in his political history that suggest a ruthless and skilled negotiator

He’s not even a proper leaver , he has zero morals and believes in nothing . You know 2 days before the vote he wrote an article for the Times, that wasn’t published , backing remain but then went the other way . The article is out there , he’s literally the worst .

Former Tory Chancellor Ken Clarke summed up Johnson couple hours ago. 'Boris is great fun as company and all the rest of it, but couldn't run a whelk stall. And I really don't think I would follow him on any complicated, serious policy issue.'

I despair for the average voter in the UK at the moment who just wants a bit of stability and a clear idea of the way ahead.

On one hand there's a xenophobic lynch mob lead by the likes of Boris 'BJ' Johnson and that snooty creep Rees-Moggy who want to return to the days of empire, and on the other hand there is a bunch of left-wing idealists led by Jezza "I'll say anything to get into power" Corbyn who won't ever win an election because they will never capture the middle ground - they should be sweeping the floor with public opinion at the moment yet they aren't.

What a choice. No wonder May survives.

Corbyn "will never capture the middle ground" because, frankly, the middle ground - the average voters, if you will - are idiots.

Ah... the old the electorate are stupid argument. A guaranteed vote winner...

No. He's just not appealing to a big enough proportion of the population. He will raise taxes. People don't vote to lose more of their money every month.

Labour need to seize their opportunity by changing leader because the tories are dead in the water right now. If labour get their act together they could win a landslide.

Boris would stand up to the EU, I want someone to stand up to them FFS, something May has failed to do hence the vote of no confidence from her own MP’s, but he’d be a bad PM, that suits me fine, I think Labour would win easier with him in charge.

Labour voters like this, hence why I’d like him as PM.

The Tories are responsible for the referendum, the negotiations following the referendum, the infighting in their own party and the austerity of the past eight years. They have had three terrorist attacks and numerous failed attacks during a time they've cut police and military funding and they are planning to make even more cuts. They've reacted to a worsening climate here and globally by encouraging fracking, at a time when gas prices are historically low. They've have a foreign government try an assassination on our soil, which murdered a British citizen, and have reacted to it by not pnly not banning the main way that foriegn government has its favoured citizens get into our country with their money, in fact aside from kicking a few diplomats out its almost impossible to detect any response from them. The NHS may well collapse this winter, debt (private and public) has ballooned since 2010 and the first warnings have gone out about the start of the next financial crisis.

If the average voters reaction to all that is to fall for the lies, half-truths and misleading statements of the media and the Tories against the only opposition they face, then they are idiots.

The remain campaign, led in part by Corbyn, who had opposed every piece of European legislation brought before the house during his time in parliament.

The Leave campaign, led in part by Johnson, a europhile who had spent his whole career talking up our relationship with Europe.

A shambolic campaign led by career politicians who chose ego and ambition over principle. Out of touch politicians across the board.

May is inept in every way. I do not support her in any way. She's the weakest PM since probably the 60s.

Labour should be winning the next election by a landslide. With Corbyn I think they'll lose.

I said almost the same the other week about the planned debate , when we’d have had a remainer pretending to be a leaver and a leaver pretending to be a remainer . As you say the whole thing is shambolic
