The state we're in is all about the internal wranglings of the Conservative Party. I

It's a crime we don't have a dynamic Labour opposition to take advantage. Say what you will but Tony Blair would be making mincemeat of May and her crew.
But he was a dynamic Tory leader in a red tie,so not sure what that would gain us. Oh for a moderate Labour leader with a modicum of ability in public speaking and the ability to ask a few sensible questions and pin down a lame duck.

If Corbyn metaphorically gets into bed with Foster and her DUP backwoodsmen over this then here is one lifelong Labour voter will not be voting for the party if an election ensues on the back of this ongoing fiasco.
Absolutely shameful that he is backing the DUP's position. Like I know that most politicians will abandon their principles at the drop of a hat in pursuit of power, but the sight of a supposed left-wing leader supporting a bunch of right-wing religious evangelists is stomach-churning to say the least.

What did you vote for mate? You voted to leave the EU, we're leaving the EU. You didn't vote for the way in which we leave the EU, that wasn't on the ballot paper. None of the main parties wanted to leave, they think it's a terrible idea. What May is trying to do is leave the EU without destroying the country for the next 25 years, and what thanks is she getting? She's being destroyed by some ideological idiots who still see some mythical deal they wrote on the side of a bus, and by people who still think we don't have to deliver Brexit.

I voted to leave because I don't believe in uncontrolled immigration, I don't believe it's fair on countries that people leave as soon as they get to tax paying age to go to the UK to do an in skilled job. I don't like the fact we give the EU £350m a week and I don't like the fact we are governed by EU tarrifs on goods.

I want out of the in democratic rabble and if it takes 10 years of pain so be it. I knew that when I voted

Corbyn is a disaster. Uncharismatic, inarticulate, unconvincing.

Yeah, if Corbyn allies with the DUP then that would be very disappointing

The fact he seemingly had principles is what made him stand out, and made up for the fact that he was a bit of a lame leader. Without his principles and beliefs, he offers nothing, he's just another chunk in the river of excrement that is politics

That's all fair enough, but that wasn't the question. The fact that Jacob Rees-Mogg and Boris Johnson lied to people in the hope that we'd leave so they could make more money from their offshore investments disguised the fact that any sensible leader of the country would pursue a deal that kept the status quo, because that's what's best for the economic well-being of the country.

If most people voted Brexit for the same reason as you, they were voting for a no deal Brexit. So therefore the only sensible solution is to have a referendum with 3 options:

1)Remain
2)The negotiated deal
3)Leave with no deal and trade on WTO terms

And let the devil take the hindermost.

To heck with the millions of people already stretched to the limit after years of austerity.....people who cannot afford another “10 years of pain”.

Just let them go to the wall....eh wot, tally ho and let them eat cake.

Talk about swallowing a madcap policy hook, line and sinker

One thing’s for sure, sir......Johnson, Rees-Mogg, Farage and the rest of them will comfortably ride out your “ten years of pain” much easier than the vast majority of us will.

Why do remainers always bring up the bus issue? The remain campaigned lied even worse!!! They used fear. Emergency budget etc ... Never happened.

Yes I would go with option 3 as it stands although I believe a better deal is available as the no deal option is even scarry for the EU.

This country will survive and did before. Trade will continue and most of the bluff about big business leaving the UK won't happen
