How has it got to the stage where what should be one of the most basic responsibilities from a government; emergency health care, is unfit for purpose, with nothing being done about i? There is nowhere left to turn.

It’s utterly abhorrent that this has been allowed to happen. Where has all the money gone? It’s been funnelled off to slimy Tory donors peers and MPs who backed Brexit and happened to be selling crap aprons at the time of crisis, with absolutely no shame whatsoever. They sit there in their sterile homes cooking up plans to extract more money from the milked dry cow that is the UK.

The Tories have blood on their hands.

I popped into the Royal last night and it was like a scene from a developing nation. I passed four corridors full of beds with patients on them. The staff were fighting to look after everyone but the stress was palpable. They have been let down. This is our new flag ship hospital for the city centre and it has 200 less beds than the old one. I suppose if they get there way not everyone will be able to afford healthcare so it probably has more than enough for their forecasts.

We have allowed a situation in which we are regressing as a society, it is absolutely crazy. Crooked MP's in the pockets of the banks and corperations are the new Barons and they have us all fighting one another - left, right, woke, snowflakes, LGBTQ, black, white, alpha, beta, men, women, brexit baffoonery. If somethig doesn't give soon we will be living in a dystopian nightmare with no way out.

People seem more concerned with benefit fraud and not giving poor and vulnerable people money.

Wasn't there some complete peeing of cash up the wall on PFI building it?

That doesn’t surprise me at all. I heard similar at the beginning of construction. I didn’t realise there was that many fewer beds, though. It’s a real worry for the future.

It does seem like we’re slowly being forced in to private healthcare. I know a few people who are advocates of it. I don’t think anyone ever imagined a scenario where fast and good quality emergency care is potentially behind a paywall.

TBF it isn't just Tories - the PFI that New Labour was addicted to was always going to lead to this.

It used to be called 'lack of means', it is on thousands of death certs.
