Probably because everyone knows it's a shambles but it's too soon for leave voters to admit it is a shambles and remain can't make a good enough case for rejoining. We can plod along blaming COVID and Truss until we all forget that we have inflicted self harm to our economy. We'll carry on for a good few years diminishing our economy and living standards until we change government then we'll slowly start to make noises about rejoining in reduced terms.

They are in just the same mess as us Germany in particular.......We had special terms no way will that get renogotiated - TBH more concerned about Putin ATM......
