He's go to be wumming, has to be, Pete has no idea of reality, his party has caused this, they have had nearly 13 years to sort it out and obviously cant, time to step aside and let a party who can, or let the people decide.

It's the only logical thing I can think of.

I've never had a problem with @peteblue but he's posted some insidious things over the last couple of days, bordering on narcissistic "I'm alright Jack" type musings.

On a personal level, I'm one of the fortunate ones in the sense that I'm pretty recession proof thanks to working in the Military Aerospace sector however some of my friends and family stand to suffer due to the sheer incompetence of these idiots.

Laissez faire, no?

Windfall tax...

Which is already in place. Starmers latest is non dom tax…he’s playing to base emotions because the sums of money he would generate are absolute peanuts in the greater scheme of things. He has no idea what he would do to actually make a real difference. Has he ever spelt out any detail, no, it’s all fluffy ‘fix the economy’ without any policy of actually how to do it. Please if you have his plan can we hear/see it….

But listening to Pete and what he thinks is logic, then you can see how Boris and co got in, self centred greed and yet any credibility the Tories might have thought they with the economy has surely vanished with these idiots in charge and their misguided antics.

So it's the civil services fault ? So they decided to cut the top rate of tax not you're party... You talk some rubbish Pete.

I was responding to a specific question. Ministers decide the policy, with civil service input. The civil service then enact the policy. So for Goats question regarding a builder knocking down a house, unless the builder laid down the policy to do so, it is the workers fault if it is accidentally knocked down….

Mate, honestly, my ghast is completely flabbered.
When your retort is what amounts to 'well they ballsed up it up that badly what's the point in letting someone else try to sort it out' your morals are completely and utterly twisted and self-serving.

I'm honestly appalled by his behaviour.

Well he could do what you're party has done, borrow trillions for tax cuts and use austerity for the rest of us " plebs". And Pete, again don't dare talk about the economy in this Country right after you're party has practically destroyed it. The Tory party ran out of idea's years ago, now it's sackings, resignations, new Chancellors, new Prime minister's galore, the Tories are in tatters, infighting, divisions, factions everywhere and who suffers we do. Party is over Pete look at the polls, accept it and for once show some grace.

I said builder Pete, not building contractor.

In my analogy the builder was knocking the house down, not a worker of his.

His last manifesto was fully costed. Unlike the Tories manifesto which had zero costings.

He doesn't need to cost anything right now as he is not in power. But I can be pretty certain that as soon as a GE is called, a fully costed manifesto will be published.

Any chance of seeing it, saying something is fully costed doesn’t really cut it I’m afraid…..

Saw someone comment on one of my local MPs post that he is backing Bojo saying that Boris hasn't had a chance to be PM without crises such as Covid Ukraine and get this - Brexit!

Yes, brexit is now an unavoidable crisis that Johnson had to face.

It really beggars belief.
