Jesus, that's pathetic. There was absolutely no pressure to release a mini-budget within days of the Queen's funeral. In fact it strikes me as a bit tasteless and constitutionally iffy. The King could not be consulted properly as the Royals were in a well publicized 'week off' for personal mourning in the days immediately after the Queen's funeral. Releasing a budget like that while Parliament were in recess and the King was on compassionate leave smacks of 'taking advantage of the situation' in the style of a snake oil salesman in a care home.
