I wouldn’t be surprised to see the tories win the next election. They won a landslide with Johnson Ffs. A lot of what they do must appeal to the electorate
Yeah, it's not beyond the realms of possibility, but I'm starting to detect genuine anger at them amongst folk I know who you need to change vote. Not representative of course, but interesting to note.

People are indoctrinated to sympathise with centre right politics. They want to believe that deep down the Tories are like them or understand them. They want everything to be ok, so they close their eyes and vote with hope, not expectation.

I fully expect the Tories to bin Truss once she has done their bidding - the spending cuts haven't gone away - then claim they "get it" and are "working for you". People, once again, will want to believe. I have them winning the next election too.

The message needs to get out there, this is not what centre right politics looks like, there is a fundamental shift in the Conservative party towards breaking up and selling off all the parts of the state that don't turn a profit or offer some service for them. They don't believe in free at the point of contact healthcare, they don't believe in your fundamental right to dignity in poverty, old age or disability.

I've never liked the Tories, but these are something else.

As we belted out "eff the tories" to the saints fans on Saturday, a load of them sang it back to us (in agreement). Not too sure that has happened in the past.

He's a wum mate nothing else.
Yeah I know. But I like to try and see whether they are good at being a wum.

@Mr. White isn't good at being a wum. As he just ignores the responses that prove him wrong after he asks for evidence. Good wums, will respond in the face of overwhelming evidence.

It's pretty sad to not even be good at being a wum really.

Talk about knives out.

We can't go on like this though, we need an election. The country can't afford for the Tory party and / or its members to pick another leader.
Have you noticed it’s always about them?

“We’re f*****”
“We’re screwed”
“We’ve lost the next election”

Etc. etc. etc. they have little comprehension or care for the normal people they’re dragging through hellish living circumstances.

Thankfully the rest of the country is waking up (hint: this is where woke comes from, right wing supporters) to their nature of self serving and decimating the country.

They are simply career politicians at best who are in it for all the wrong reasons. I’m not saying Labour are full of selfless MPs, but surely it’s better than this?

In my opinion if you’ve got no desire to help normal people then you have no business in politics. But rich people get bored of everything being so easy in life so they just want more and more wealth and power, so they go in to politics to skew the system in their favour.

The evil ‘far left radical Marxists’ .
The far left have barely had any foothold in the U.K. for decades but are periodically rolled out and parroted by the ‘critical thinking centrists’ as being a scourge on our society whilst posh rich people help themselves and their friends get posher and richer and continue to blame and punish the most vulnerable. It’s beyond dumb.

Hasn't the no energy bill above £2500, which is a disgrace really, been discredited as untrue anyway. Like Boris before her she just repeats lies.
It was presented cack handedly, I know, fancy that out of these. Its based on some imagined average household of four (2 adults 2 children) where the average lighting and heating for previous winters will cost no more (via top ups) than the 2.5k [im not saying your daft enough to believe the following - there was never a scenario where john q pensioner could leave the lights on and heat his home/flat 24 hours a day for every month of winter and only pay the 2.5k number. If your in some 10 bed mansion with 5 kids of your own, the wife, mistress and housemaid, plus a couple of Ukraines refugees theres a good chance your going over the 2.5k average. in this absurd case your 5k winter bill will be capped down to 3.4k for instance (all guess work)] they had to say something illustrative to convey the scale of the energy subsidies/grants. 'cack handed'. typical tory turdisms.
