When you push people to the brink and double down on your ‘principles’, yes. They deserve every gram of abuse they receive. I’ve always been of the opinion that you should be respectful, but only if the other side allows you to be. They have deliberately downgraded this country for their own gain. They deserve no affection at all.

Mine too. She's a dangerous lunatic who shouldn't be anywhere near the position of power she currently occupies. She's the most frightening of the lot IMO.

If anything should raise questions over Truss's judgement, it's making Braverman Home Secretary.

Especially given her propensity to lie on her cv and generally be wholly ill-qualified for her role.

No, I don't want to ban protesting. There is only one side of the political spectrum that wants to ban civilised debate. And it's not the right that wants to silence others.

Indeed, Mr. Reese-Mogg, when questioned, and in response to the abuse and intimidation received, responded with a smile on his face... he acknowledged, with his usual charm and good-grace, that it was all part of being a democracy.
