I suspect there is a sea change underway in UK politics. Tory ideology has been seen by the young for the outdated sham that it is.

They can’t afford housing, most jobs have none of the benefits they previously did, the gig economy has screwed them and they have seen for themselves what privatisation of public services (doesn’t) deliver.

I have 2 kids that have come to their own opinion. My political encouragement was previously as welcome as guidance on their dress sense and music. Now they openly talk of their complete hatred for the Tories and their contempt for the complete fools promoted to positions of power.

Labour will be a breath of fresh air, but it will take more than 2 terms to right the wrongs inflicted by the evil party.

So glad that both my kids have developed by their own deduction, from being apolitical, to rabid, anti tory, working class people.

Well it’s looking like the Tories are toast. Many on here will know I have little regard for todays politicians and the Tories appear to have a death wish. Remainers and the likes of backstabbing Gove have done for them. We are going to end up with a complete numpty in the shape of Starmer running the country. It won’t affect the likes of myself one little bit, but I do worry for everyone else……

They are still talking to the 80,000 or whatever the membership number was that voted for Truss.

They are “delivering, delivering, delivering” to the wizened, soon to be dribbling and incontinent, Brexit stalwarts.

Time is not on their side, death, mental infirmity and common sense will see their electability completely eliminated.

Not as quickly as many of us may want, but they will be eradicated. They have sealed their own fate.

The tories may well become (stay) a fringe, right wing nut-job party, unless they change direction radically.
