The biggest benefit I've seen from Brexit so far is the withdrawal of the EU grants to spend on flood defences.
In the future we can keep the blame for the lack of flood defences firmly within our own borders. How dare those pesky foreigners come over here and fund our flood defences. If we want to flood our villages, we'll flood our villages.
