22 year old singer/youtuber shot dead after a concert, while signing autographs. Really sad.

The man suspected of killing US singer Christina Grimmie apparently came from another city to confront her, police in Florida say.

Police chief John Mina said the gunman "travelled to Orlando to commit this crime" but did not appear to know her personally.

Ms Grimmie was shot while signing autographs after a concert in the city on Friday night, and died in hospital.

In 2014, she was a contestant on US TV programme The Voice.

"Masters is heard refusing multiple orders to exit his vehicle."

No further questions needed.

He can refuse as the officer did not give him a proper justification for the stop.

In US law the 17 year old has a legal right to refuse to himself be searched or his vehicle if there is no 'just cause'.

You have a legal right to remain silent.

If you are not under arrest you have a legal right to leave.

US constitutional rights also extend to visitors of the United States.

If it was @GoatJR you would be talking very differently.

The police do a difficult job and they are only human, show them some respect.

RE: Christina Grimmie murder.

Another case of an mentally unstable fan becoming stalkerish? Just this year a K-Pop star was stabbed to death by a fan. John Lennon, Selena, Dimebag Darrell. Obsessive, stalker fans are scary.

Doesn't help that he had easy access to firearms, too.

Florida Pulse gay club attacked in Orlando - mass casualties

A shooting inside a gay nightclub in the Florida city of Orlando has caused mass casualties, police say.

Orlando Police also said in a tweet that the shooter inside the Pulse Club, located in the heart of the city, is now dead.

A bomb squad and hazardous material team are at the scene, and a controlled explosion was earlier carried out.

Relatives have been gathering at local hospitals desperate for news of their loved ones.

Live updates

One woman said she had received a text message and phone call from her daughter inside the club, who said she had been shot in the arm.

Another witness told local TV reporter Stewart Moore that his friend was still locked inside the building with a gunshot wound.

Witnesses said they heard at least 20 gunshots as the incident unfolded.

Mr Moore, in an earlier tweet, said a source told him that the attacker was suspected to have a bomb.

Video footage being shared on social media showed dozens of emergency vehicles at the scene and people being treated on the pavements.

More than 100 people were reported to have been enjoying a Latin-themed night in the club, which calls itself the hottest gay bar in the city.

Ricardo Negron Almodovar told BBC News that the shooter opened fire at around 02:00 local time (06:00 GMT), as the club night was coming to a close.

"We heard rapid fire go off. In the room I was in, people went down to the floor. I wasn't able to see the shooter or people get hurt.

"At some point, there was a brief pause, and a group of us got up and went to the exit that leads to the patio area outside. We found an exit and after that... I just ran."

Another man, Anthony Torres, said he heard people screaming that others in the nightclub were dead.

The incident comes as Orlando is still reeling from the fatal shooting on Friday night of 22-year-old singer Christina Grimmie following a concert in the city.

She had been signing autographs when she was shot by 26-year-old Kevin James Loibl, who then killed himself. It is not clear what Loibl's motive was.

Wonder how rhe gun lobby will spin this one. Guns for barmaids?

They are way ahead of you......

I guess that means the wife will have GMB on in the morning while I am still half asleep and Piers Moron will be arguing with some fat American who will say it was the clubbers fault for not being armed and if they were it wouldn't have happened. Same bloke said if kids had guns in school you wouldn't get school massacres a few months ago.

Right wing religious America is going to be torn by this

An Islamic extremist did it, but he shot gay people....

No they won't, they will do what they always do and put this down to a vengeful God punishing sinners.

Then they will listen to their god-awful music and eat something that would feed five people anywhere else in the world.

RIP to the dead, and prayers for the injured - absolutely senseless that two utter scum can blow away a singer and a load of people in a club just because of their own estrangement from society.
