What would that better training be? Let the suspect get the gun and point it at you before responding?

Are we seriously to believe that there is no other option but to shoot this man in the chest? Are there no other weapons that can prevent someone from shooting a weapon (tazor or something) that don't result in death? Could they shoot him somewhere to wound rather than kill?

And what difference is that mate?

Also, what words diffuse a situation in the 2 seconds it takes to pull a gun out and pull the trigger?

Again, sorry, but idealistic nonsense. One common denominator in this, and it's not that they were black - it's that they were carrying guns.

I agree. If fewer cops were carrying guns, there'd be fewer black men [Poor language removed] by cops.

If someone fears their life is at risk, they'll react. Human nature.

This simply isn't the case

Ok, mate...

, good training goes a long way

I'm sure it does, but I'm sure they're already trained.

If a cop making a traffic stop fears his life is at risk, he needs a new job.

Or, a funeral.

Here is one cop, making a traffic stop in America the other week. He's now dead.

Again, secondary situation. What did they do that was incompetent once they'd decided this guy was a suspect and asked him to get to ground?

No no, that's the primary incident as that's what they were called there to deal with! It's like the fire brigade being called to your burning house and deciding they'll rescue the cat up the tree down the street. Utter madness.

They used a tazer. It didn't work and the guy ignored the request to go down. The guy was then tackled to the ground and resisted arrest on the ground.

Again, idealistic. Everyone says "shoot him in the arm" - it's a smaller target and not guaranteed to incapacitate quickly.

The police have every right to think of their own safety, as opposed to what a bunch of Twitterati nonsense will think about them afterwards.

And again, if he follows instruction, the confusion is quickly cleared up and nothing happens.

Police once knocked at my flat looking for someone who didn't pay a cab outside late at night. They wanted to come inside to check who was there.

I allowed the request, the police looked, obvious mistake, went away and found the right flat.

Is it incompetence for following that process?

Same thing, only America has bloody guns every square foot of the place.

Same thing in America: "GET OFF MY PROPERTY, YOU DON'T HAVE PERMISSION TO GO IN!!!!1" *goes to get gun(s)

I was answering D's question. When four cops brutally beat a drunk man.. if they're not afraid then either they simply don't care or they're overtly racist.

Cops today committing these crimes are either not properly trained or ill suited for the job.

You said "If a cop making a traffic stop fears his life is at risk, he needs a new job."

In a country where everyone and their puppy has a gun.

So, again, you can't be serious, or you're seriously saying to be a police officer in the USA, you should leave your brain at home.
