Nonsense, they are not mutually exclusive. As I mentioned earlier, guns are a force equalizer. Imagine this scenario, a 5ft woman who was once walking home from her late shift at work was attacked by a large man and sexually assaulted. She is now terrified of walking alone at night, she is also a sensible peace loving human. She now carries a small pistol when she walks home late at night from work, she feels much safer, will likely never use the gun and if she does it will be to protect her life.
Again you are looking at it all too black and white, it is far more nuanced than you think.

Look at every military insurgent the US has tried to destroy, they are all still kicking about with nothing but AK47s, pickup trucks and IEDs. Seems to be working alright for them.
It is also not about overthrowing the government but preventing a tyrannical government as I understand it.

You cannot control an entire country with drones, fighter jets and tanks. None of these things can stand on the street and enforce curfews, they cannot kick your door down at 4am and search your house for contraband, they cannot stop and search civilians on the street.
None of these things have the power to maintain the needed police state that a tyrannical government would try to enforce, a police state that tries to subjugate and enslave the people of a nation. Police are needed for a police state, boots on the ground are needed and civilians will always outnumber the police. Which is why... in a police state it is imperative that the police are allowed weapons and the people have nothing.
However, when every random person walking down the street could have a pistol tucked into their waistband or every homeowner is waiting behind the door with an AR-15 all of that goes out of the window because now the police face the very real possibility of bullets coming back at them.
If you want living examples see my previous post, AK47s and pickup trucks work just fine against the US gvmt.
From the middle-ish ground of the arguement - It's a perfectly reasonable point of view
Others of either side who are a little bit further from that middle can make equally reasonable points of view.
It's when you get further out to the fringes of both sides that the trouble starts.
It's possible there IS no workable solution that wouldn't cause a different set of problems
Edit; You're dealing with a set of rules that were drawn up in the Pre-Industral 1770s.

Out of all of those scenarios you laid out, banning guns won't stop them, that is what you are failing to grasp. Gangs will still get their hands on guns, home invaders will still get their hands on guns, racist police officers will still have guns, school shooters will still get their hands on guns, people who want to kill themselves, if they can't get a gun will do it another way. Don't know what you are even trying to prove?
No it is laughable that with one example I just completely disproved your point. You can be a sensible peace loving human and still own a gun.

They are all living in fear of guns so arm themselves and the cycle continues. It’s a pathetic excuse. Most of the civilised world manages just fine .
Getting rid of guns won’t be easy but it has to happen, it has to start somewhere. Your suggestion of making more guns and arming more people is utter lunacy
The excuses about criminals still having guns is also crap, because they are not being deterred by others having guns, they just carry on
The situation could be simply “from January 1st 2024 it will be illegal to carry a fire arm, punishable by prison . It would be chaos for a while but, ultimately there would be less and less guns and less and less murdered children.
