Remember a comedian (might have been George Carlin) laying into Americans talking about protecting the 2nd amendment. Something along the lines of "its an amendment. The whole point is you can change the constitution".
That encompasses both of my kids. Imagine having to think about your babies dying in sheer panic and horrific pain all because a load of politicians don’t want to give up their backhanders from gun lobbyists. And imagine half of the country absolutely loving those politicians.
I’m well aware of the mess that the UK is in, but that place is just another level of unimaginable hell.
Shooter was an 18-year old with a Mexican-American background who apparently shot a relative before heading to the school. Probably not a white supremacy thing.

Sorry for the delay but I’m just seeing this post. Tbh in Colombia, because there is no such mass shootings happening there. The conflict in Colombia has been a civil war that has been going for over half a century, and also there is the drug cartels, plus petty crime so there is violence but it is different than the one here in the US. There is no mass shootings happening at schools like happen here.
Hearing today’s news have made me literally sick. I am so furious this keeps happening to our kids. I’m fearful for my daughter’s safety, but there is not much that I can do except keep putting pressure on our legislators about the need to change our guns laws. Unfortunately nothings gets done. Just more thoughts and prayers by politicians ?

I’ve never been more disenchanted with my adoptive country as I’m now days, sometimes I’m thinking about doing the same. I can’t imagine the pain these families are enduring, it is just not fair for 14 children to be death and to have been deprived of a future.Seriously thinking about raising my kid elsewhere.

The NRA is holding a rally in Houston on Friday. DJT will be there. My wife and I are seriously considering going there to protest.
