That psychpath's manifesto is about 60 pages of anti-black/anti-jewish craziness (very similar to the type of crap you see on most hate-sites) and about 140 pages of discussions on various weapons, body armor, helmets, and where to buy. Just absolute crazy stuff. The fellow has been highly radicalized by racist psuedo-science as put forth by JP Rushton and right-wing scientists (stuff you see summarized on Briebart, Vdare, Unz Review, and other right-wing sites.).
He specifically claims he was radicalized by 4-chan/pol on page 13 of his racist manifesto which led him to dailystormer and worldtruth and other hate sites. Crazy and horrifying.

The US clearly has a gun epidemic that our government is doing nothing to fix. Besides yesterday’s hateful shooting at the supermarket. There were 3 shooting in the span of 2 hours near the Bucks arena in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. And another shooting at another supermarket in LA. I’m sure Republicans will be sending their meaningless thoughts and prayers message to the victims, but do nothing significant to change the US gun laws ?

It's just utterly insane how happy certain Americans are to let it carry on and also how rampant it truly is. The fact that we have a thread dedicated to it, despite being 4,000 miles away from it all, says it all.
I remember on holiday in Florida last November there was a shooting a block away from where I was playing in a pick up match with the locals and after the initial, wow that's close by, no one was particularly alarmed by it all, myself included, but I said to the woman who organises the pick up games afterwards, your country isn't ok, to which she agreed, but also said there's nothing that can be done unfortunately

On a recent trip to the US I noticed, on the majority of doors to a wide variety of establishments, a sign that simply read 'No firearms'. Here the strongest sign that we would have is 'No caps/hats/hoodies'. It is such a small detail but, I don't know, for me it sort of shows the problem they have with casual ownership and the acceptance of carrying of guns.
