It's certainly a variable and an important one given, per Gallup, white people in this country are twice as likely to have guns in the house as non-white people.That’s fair but I go back to the whole concept of correlation doesn’t mean causation. There are so many variables that need to be considered. It’s essentially the same as someone saying, the majority of gang shootings are done by African Americans. Race isn’t the cause of what’s happening in my mind. It’s one of many many variables but almost always the one people tend to fixate on. You can’t change someone’s race. But you can root cause the other circumstances leading to problems and react to those. Just my opinion.
