The US House of Representatives just voted 427-1 to condemn the genocide of Uyghurs.

Guess who was the lone "no" vote? Big gun, little knob Massie.
Ooof. I guess someone was always going to stake out the “More loony than MTG and Boebert” position. Makes sense that it was the guy who just posed for a Christmas card photo in his living room wielding a machine gun designed to be mounted on a helicopter.

Such a tragedy. Anything over 50yards would suggest it's more likely a rifle as 90yds is quite a distance for a pistol to fire and go through masonry*

*Although it might be wood considering US design.
Most likely plastic over something between plywood and fibreboard depending on the age then half inch drywall. I reckon a .45 round could easily pass through my house width ways.

You're correct although it would depend on the range it was fired. A .45 cal has a lot more stopping power (and distance), but even after 100yds it'll be slowing.

Here in the UK, a masonry wall would slow it a lot if it didn't actually stop it. American homes aren't the same of course in terms of their construction.

There were a fair few examples over in NI where a 7.62 round from an SLR would pass through a wall.
