I agree with you. It is illogical and for me more because of the every day gun violence and not the mass shootings. More people lose their life to the former but it is so common it has stopped being news.
Americans are crazy about the 2nd amendment. Nothing can change their minds. I can understand how non Americans don’t get it. I don’t even get it.

They don’t believe in change. The 2nd amendment was written at a time when only muskets were around. There’s only black and white

Insanity

What I don’t understand is while this horrible incident is not being reported as a terror attack.

Crazy clown walks into a Synagogue shouting all Jews must die to me qualifies as a terror attack in every form.

Anyway my condolences to all those affected by this and I hope they throw the book at this loser
Ultimately, it will depend the motives of the attack: was it to obtain an objective (ideological, social, political or religious etc) or a matter of individual anti-Semitism?

That's not to discredit that it may be a terrorism related incident, however I think sometimes it is easy to label things under the blanket umbrella of terrorism.

Equally, with the mid-term elections coming up then I don't think the current administration would want it to be labelled as terrorism and that wouldn't look good.

I'm not sure I'll ever get it either.

Condolences to you and your city. Terrible world we're in at the moment.

I think that’s probably fair enough but there are plenty of this fellas online posts available talking about globalists and the Jewish conspiracy, he then shouts death to all Jews and murders a host of people in a synagogue. If the bloke had been ranting online about unbelievers and his support for a caliphate and then carried out the shooting I don’t think we’d see a huge debate about whether he was a terrorist personally.

So people aren’t allowed to comment in the immediate aftermath of mass shootings on what could be done in a political sense to reduce the chances of another one happening.

Oct 27th: Pittsburgh synagogue shooting, 11 dead

November 8th: California shooting, 12 dead

Could someone tell me when in the intervening TWELVE DAYS would have been an acceptable time to have the discussions that need to be had
