I used to live quite close to where it happened.
I suspect the residents of Manchester, Nice, London, Paris, etc etc. are by now also quite familiar with the experience of seeing internet bigots, who otherwise despise them and their values, exploiting their tragedies to score cheap political points, all in a vain effort to mask deep feelings of inadequacy, a near-orgasmic sense of victimhood, or the angst of a prolonged virginity.
Unfortunately most of the incidents in this thread are not surprising, just tragic and horrendous cases of innocent lives cut short or ruined. Yet it is only this one that you feel worth commenting on...

At least three people were killed in a shooting inside a Walmart store in suburban Denver on Wednesday, police said.
Police in Thornton, Colorado, did not immediately release any information about the circumstances of the shooting or who was responsible for the gunfire.
The situation appeared potentially ominous from authorities' initial reports.
"We've got multiple parties down, we're still trying to ascertain what their conditions are," Officer Victor Avila of the Thornton Police Department told Reuters by telephone not long after police arrived on the scene.

Look at the title of this thread it doesn't require smart ar*e comments like that to provoke a reaction. All of the events mentioned are tragic and you choose to make light of it by saying it happens really? How about you offer something more than a line or a sentence that provokes reaction negatively towards you or are you simply a WUM?
How often and how many times has the US been threatened within the last year ? Something was bound to happen. The fact such instances don't happen more is in some way surprising.
In any sense, a terrible event which is very difficult to address which makes it so frightening.
I feel like you have something more to say on the matter, please let us know your thoughts
