The second ammendment is utter rubbish in modern-day USA. A 'well-regulated' militia with semi automatic weapons will not be able to stand up to a government with an army, planes, tanks, battleships, missiles and nukes no matter how egregious and tyrannical they feel they are.

If there's any doubt in the interpretation, lets just settle it by allowing people to use weapons made or designed during or before the 18th century.

PASCO CO., Fla. — Authorities in Florida say a murder-turned-shootout started when a man believed a family friend was hitting on his imaginary girlfriend.

According to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office, Brian Desario, 30, shot and killed a friend of his mother’s, 56-year-old David Armstrong on Thursday afternoon. Desario believed that Armstrong was hitting on his girlfriend, a woman law enforcement officials said doesn’t exist.

When deputies arrived at the scene, Disario turned his gun on them, prompting a shootout and causing a nearby elementary school to go on lockdown.

According to WKRN’s sister station WFLA, deputies pulled back and attempted to negotiate with Disario before using a robot to enter the home. When deputies were able to safely enter, they found Disario dead inside. The exact cause of death is still under investigation.

Just today a friend in Louisiana let me know that the parents of a local girls softball team was holding a raffle to raise money for the team's equipment and travel. The auction items were 5 different handguns.

The reality is that it is nothing to do with the second amendment, it is just to do with their culture that encourages people to have guns. The second amendment is just an old document they hide behind to justify their right to have a gun. The bigger problem is the desire to have a gun. Until they change their mindset around the desire for guns, then the outcome is going to be more of the same.

Going back to the Las Vegas shooting, a lawsuit has been filed that suggests (and not without a considerable body of evidence) that MGM might have royally f**ked up the response to their security guard being shot six minutes before the massacre started.

The irony is that the hotel accused the Police as having the timeline wrong without realizing it makes them look like idiots if in fact they knew he had been shot earlier. The police had thought they received the call when he was shot and this was after the fact, as in they were alerted a security guard stumbled across the shooter first while he was shooting at the crowd. The whole thing is a mess.

The whole case is very curious and mad indeed

The security guard is still ducking reporters and i believe he either is due on the Ellen show or cancelled last minute.
