Mate, If I wanted to I could get hold of an illegal firearm by the end of the day. There is zero exaggeration here.

Why would you ever need that gun he had, as self defence or to protect yourself? It mowed down hundreds ffs

We find it incredible, a lot of Mericans think its incredible that we do.

And when the NRA lobs $30m at a presidents campaign kitty, well, square that circle and you might be half way there.

Ergo.

Don't even bother Joe. It's an endless rabbithole of "guns don't kill people, people do" said in a variety of meaningless ways

Yep.

Just like Heroin/Cocaine doesn't kill people, people do. Which are a banned and illegal substance, which you can't buy in a store. Strange how people still get a hold of it though.

Well yeah, but only a few, relative to a population, and neither are exactly mainstream activities.

But if you think the gun deaths in the US are all fine and dandy, and all is good, then not much a boring bloke this side of the pond can add really.

Starting to suspect that Blue4eva is furiously trying to Google support for an imminent claim that US gun deaths aren't particularly notable

Ha Ha Ha Ha

Starting to suspect that Prevenger is slightly obsessed with one question and because blue4eva isn't bothered about his question, is getting irate.

That's three times you've asked it now. Slightly awkward now.

I couldn't honestly tell you why anyone needs an automatic weapon. I should also point out I don't own any kind of weapon, which is why I kind answer your question Neil.

People WILL find a way. You're saying ' not all people will find a way '..... These are not just your normal everyday people though. I very much doubt this guy woke up in his hotel room yesterday and decided to open fire at a large gathering of people.

It's obviously a planned act of violence/domestic terrorism. Something the sick individual decided to do weeks and months ago.

So like I've said, banning firearms wouldn't of stopped this act, and that's the sad truth. He could of easily obtained an illegal/unlicensed/unregistered firearm in the weeks or months he's been planning the thing.
In the dunblane shooting a man used legal hand guns and not illegal auto weapons, why? And if he had been able to get hold of auto weapons it obvioisly would have been alot worse
