i don`t think they`re contradictory, i might come across as thinking that because of my limited communication skills. they are not contradictory obviously but the discussion isn`t about that - its about empowerment, and personal empowerment ie. getting your $h!+ together is vastly different than trying to sort the worlds $h!+ out. you seem to be conflating the two while inferring i see them as mutually exclusive (which i don`t) pick any dictator at random, they have focused on having a voice, seeing themselves, their ideology and their beliefs listened to - those are your words. i would`ve preferred that dictator to practice his keepy-uppy skills rather than foist her ideology on the world.

I'm still struggling to see why you can't "get your [Poor language removed] together" and think more broadly about problems. And succeed at both.

Dictators also used force and opportunism to achieve their goals - appropriate for the thread I think.

I feel the need to stand up for @emir ir here. We might not agree with what he says, but he does have a right to say it. Dialogue and engagement is the way to beat our polarised world and the ills that it causes.

I'm still struggling to see why you can't "get your [Poor language removed] together" and think more broadly about problems. And succeed at both.

Well help me understand because presently you've been absolutely all over the place in terms of logic regarding: "self improvement vs preaching", disempowerment of young people because they feel helpless trying to change society rather than themselves as though they are contradictory endeavours, stated you can't communicate very well then told to me I "don't know what I'm talking about".

Are you sure you're not quasi-thinking?

Self indulgent tossers who would sell their own mother for “likes and subscribes”? I’m sure they did but they weren’t forced down everybody’s throats.

Unfortunately they aren’t “forced down everyone’s throat” it is more a case of the internet uniting the weird or anti social kids together globally. Whereas there would be a few of these in each school year/class often they would moderate and adapt to ‘fit in’ as they progressed through higher education and become functioning members of society. Now they club together on the internet and are made to feel ‘special’, ‘unique’, ‘truth sayers’ and members of a ‘clique’ instead of being ‘odd’. Obviously It’s great that these people can find their ‘tribe’, it’s not likely to help them become functioning members of society though.

What was your goal?

The goal is to keep those people in the know about what Andrew Tate gets up to. If it informs just 1 person, then my goal is achieved.
