Look to the future

Been my stance for a while. If Moyes is to have a future, he'll need to be capable of seizing opportunities to progress. That opportunity has presented itself after stability was achieved this season...and he's flunking it. This is as good an audition as we could have to see if he is capable of driving us higher than mere stability.I am only happy for him to stay on if we qualify for Europe. Even though it obviously wasn't a target at the start of the season, it became very achievable half way through the season and he has made a bit of a pigs ear of it in the final run in. We can blame Var and refs and they have indeed had an impact but we cannot blame them for only being able to play one good half or 97th minute lapses of concentration and throwing points away. It essentially means that not qualifying will be a disappointment now. We still have 3 games left to salvage it so go for it Davey. 3 out of 3 please.
Getting the club back into Europe after what we have been through the past few years is an achievement worthy of a stay.

Does he get no credit for the opportunity 'presenting itself'?Been my stance for a while. If Moyes is to have a future, he'll need to be capable of seizing opportunities to progress. I'd keep him on if he gets us into Europe. The bar isn't actually that high given the number of spots available. I'd shake his hand Monday morning if we've taken less than three tomorrow at Palace.
Is this like a chastity belt?Ay up Matty - when’s your birthday, the Club shop has these atm…..
