Were there massive celebrations in the streets or anything? If so I didn’t see any videos. Some of it could be Americans living abroad, or maybe people are glad that about things such as the fact that the US is going to readopt a position of not actively trying to burn their planet to the ground.

Given the sheer size of the typical California ballot, and all the races/propositions/measures on it, I have no idea how anyone can do it at a voting booth in any informed way!

It has never been done so we really don't know how the courts would rule. However, if he were to pardon himself he can only do so for crimes at the federal level no for state crimes. Currently one of the cases that could land him in jail is in New York and he won't be able to pardon himself at that level so hopefully he will be behind bars at some point.

Not really, as I’ve said it was the completely over the top ‘shaking and crying’ tweet reactions that are there to show what a good person someone is, especially from uk based observers. It’s binary politics which as we’ve seen over the past few years has created huge problems.

Haha, I don't think Hillary has much influence with New York's attorney general. And at the federal level Biden has said before he wouldn't.
