My dear Lord of Doom... it isn't a race. It's a farce.

The candidate of the Democratic Party will have won the most votes of any POTUS in history and will finish with around 52% of the vote. That's within the range of the win by Obama in 2008, which everyone considers a rout.

It’s looking positive TX, but the whole popular vote argument isn’t really valid in my opinion. If that was the game, the whole campaigning strategy would be different. GOP basically writes off California and doesn’t even try because even with a 10% shift, they still lose handily. Dems seemingly do the same with the Deep South states.

To me it’s essentially the equivalent of complaining you lost a match even though you outshot you’re opponent 30-3. The game is to score goals, not take a lot of shots.

To be fair I actually think the Electoral college makes for a more competitive system than the UK’s. We’re looking down the barrel of 15 years of conservative rule, if not 20 years so I don’t think we can really get high and mighty about it

My voting life spans both GWB terms, two of Obama and one of Trump. So during those years, this country has been under minority rule 40% of the time. The one “advantage” the American system does afford is that a party winning the Presidency doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll unilaterally be able to ram their policies down the country’s throat. The House and Senate can either obstruct everything, or in an ideal world compromise and get things done.

Trump is a man who will take down the political and media regime that has been playing the population as puppets for decades.
He wants to oust the illegal immigrants out of his country and rightly so, there illegal!! America has its own issues to deal with first before helping others
That 'wall' he is building is to stop the free flow of drugs entering the US which is destroying lives and creating crime.
I agree fully with the majority of things he has said and wants to do.
