What's really saddened me is that Trump has actually increased his vote. People have looked at him (if they care to look, I know), over the last 4 years, seen a quarter of a million dead, a tanked economy, bile, lies and division all over, the stench of corruption sky high and gone - yep. That's my guy. Depressing.
Same with the tories, you wonder how anyone can keep voting for such scumbags but people still do

Just a question.
If Biden wins would you still want the US system changing?

or does it just pretend who wins?

I’m not saying it’s a good system at all, just seems people only wanna change it when it doesn’t go the way they’d like it to or in their favour - and I don’t think Trump should be anywhere near Washington DC never mind the White House
Absolutely I would

Well he got in the race by corporate mainstream media crushing Bernie and beating the ‘has more electability’ drum and not talking about the issues. So it’s just being true to form.
not to mention his cheating capabilities...never forget New Hampshire

edit: sorry Iowa that is

It has to, but there will be resistence from the top of the party who will say this win was because of them.

He's not and never was going to win the popular vote. So your vague assertion about the "left" means even less

Well then all being well he shouldn’t win. Let’s hope he doesn’t

well, it kind of does. It’s the same on nearly every political issue - just two sides shouting in echo chambers and never really getting close to changing each other

Issue is, one side at the moment seems better at getting people on side than the other one, which is what matters in a (fair) election

I wrote a thesis on the subject in college. That was decades ago.

The Electoral College is completely anti-democratic and a relic of a bygone age - like slavery. The Founders came to hate it and Madison wanted it scrapped.
