Smaller states have just as much of a right to have a seat at the table regarding their issues - which by and large will be much different from the issues large metro areas face. Sure, CA/NY/etc all deserve more electoral votes. So, balance that.

The problem is that those small states have a vastly outsized say, and on multiple levels too. Don’t even get me started on the Senate
