I still think its crazy that a country the size of America only has a choice between 2 parties.

I mean how can just two parties cater for over 300 million peoples own beliefs?

Its bad enough in the UK being stuck between Labour and Conservatives

both countries have crappy outdated voting systems and both have two major parties.

technically THE founding father of America (Washington) argued against the formation of political parties in America strictly because he foresaw this occurring. It's mad to me that the States run the election but the parties themselves run the election process. It's not really a democratic process.

That’s kind of what struck me. These are beliefs whose total subscribers should number in the hundreds (or less), not the hundreds of thousands (or more). It was like no other conversation I’ve had in my entire life. Never, ever have I interacted with a person so obviously divorced from reality. The fact that the internet has provided a means for that **** to spread is kind of scary. Plus the fact that thanks to the electoral college, his vote technically probably counts for a little bit more than mine.

This is what makes me so sad - this actually will HELP her win. This is what her base wants.

I asked this a long time ago but more apt to current circumstances given the election is weeks away.

Given that nobody likes him, will vote for him and he is meant to be the worst president in American history.

What happens if trump wins? The country is even more against him from what I can see from an outside perspective. I'm not expecting him to win neither.

But what if come election day, Donald trump gets 4 more years?
