Just a funny note about the Lescott drama. Man City have paid, or will pay us more than Barcelona paid for Dani Alves. Go figure that one out!
 
he's been shitty player since room service arrived on his hols and served him with a bit of persuasion.

the thing is the room-service wasn't female, thats right folks 'arl joleon likes a bit of boy, i got a p.m. this time last year about some echo or radio city journo digging up some scandal, but it was declined as they thought it to be sailing a bit close to the wind.

so how much has he taken from the club since the arab served him with a brown one ? 2 months wages ?


yeah thanks joleon, now feck off to obscurity, mundane performances and no world cup.

At CB him and Jags were probably the 3rd best defensive partners in the prem. Lescott's positioning is awesome. At LB....I think he probably had the 1 good season there where he was a surprise. Baines is a far better left back than Lescott is.
 
Why would any player stay loyal to Everton when the next day someone leaves , the fans have the knife out for them, hope they break their legs , and talk about them like they were trash?

Had our fans said ' damn, he was a fine player and I wish he had stayed , but good luck to the lad ' then I could understand any player holding their hands up and admitting feeling a bit crap for leaving such wonderful fans, or even reconsider a move, but if Lescott was to read this thread, I'm sure he would pat himself on the back and think he was lucky to get out when he did.

We all talk about how much we love Jags and Arteta etc etc .

I dont have a problem with fans being like that to be fair. Its just the manor of how he did it - last minute transfer request, arsey attitude.

I think people would be more understanding if it was a bigger club he was going to. But its not so people are upset.

It isn't a last minute request though is it .
City made a bid , then another bid . Both were denied. Lescott asked to leave.
He can't really help the timing of Cities bids, and he asked for a request soon after to be fair to him.
If anyone left things untill late, it was really Moyes if we're fair.

All I'm saying is how can you love someone then hate them with a click of a finger ........ or words to that effect .

Initially when I thought he might leave I was prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt and call it all even. But since more details have been revealed instead of remembering him for his three seasons and applauding him I now resign myself to blanking him. I had hoped he would show more character and grace, turns out he is just another turn coat two face.
(Not in the same league as Barmby though.)
