Thank you Mr. Lescott...

Thanks for messing up the locker-room before you went out . This guy has no character and didn't put the team above his interests , selfish **** if you ask me

Thank him for what, exactly? Getting paid £35k a week, maybe? Putting in a transfer request after he skipped the country, and with only days to the start of the new season? Perhaps for the sulking he did until he got his way, and was allowed to leave? Maybe thanks for completely ignoring the fans when his praises were sang against Arsenal? Maybe thank him for being such a gutless little get that he had to be forced to play against Arsenal, and did so with a sulky face?

Cheers for all that, Joleon. Love ya!

And if he's acknowledged the fans and clapped back? There'd still be people ****ging him for 'pretending' he was happy at Everton.

He made it clear he wanted to leave, Moyes acted stupidly and for him to moan now is just spin to try and get us all onside.

THIS IS OUR FAULT

Not City's. Not Lescott's.

It's just show AGAIN how poorly run we are.

Couldnt agree more John. Sure, he's a good footballer but his attitude stinks and at the end of the day he let us down big time. He'll get no thanks from me. We helped pay his wages while he played for this club, he didnt do it for nothing and what about fans who've boughtr shirts with his name on. Dont hear him offering to refund them. He turned his back on us so fook him.

It shall be interesting what he has to say in his press conference. I believe the lad should be thanking Moyes for giving him the chance. The only thing i thank Lescott for is scoring at Analfield last season, nothing more.

Thats right Stevie. Dont hear no thanks to Moyes for giving him the chance of playing in the top flight in the first place. It was us that took a chance with him so he could step up. Wheres the thanks for that ?

i actually hate the bloke more than rooney.
atleast rooney left for a big club.

i wish him all the bad luck in the world.
Have to agree with all of this.

Rooney left for one of the biggest clubs in the world.. and a bigger paycheck. But went out fairly quickly and said that he wanted to do it (if I remember correctly).

Lescott left for a club at about the same level as we are.. and for a bigger paycheck. He also came out and wanted to leave just before the season started. When first turned down.. he went and told Moyes he didn't want to play. When fans cheered on him in games.. he ignored it.

If I could just wish for one thing this coming season it would be that we finish higher than ManC in the league and knock them out in at least one of the national cups.

Hopefully he will feel ashamed on his behaviour, but I seriously doubt it. He showed what kind of person he is with this behaviour.

You cant compare "Once a blue always a blue" Rooney with Lescott at all.

Different ball game all together.

Hes around the Speed, Barmby mark for me.

Rooney has his own section.

Although if Lescott starts doing ridiculous celebrations in front of our fans whenever Citeh score against us/beat us in the future, he'll begin edging towards Rooney territory.

your memory deceives you.

rooney was a cnut during the whole affair and it took his agent to get newcastle to put a bid in before united offered a paltry 23 million with add ons. this all took place days before the window shut and gave little time to scout out replacement players.

Lescott isnt in the same bracket as Rooney . Lescott will get booed and jeered absolutely no doubt about that whatsoever BUT I dont think he will act like a complete t*t like Rooney has ie kissing his paymasters badge . I personally would serious think about slapping Rooney if I ever crossed his path ( Sad I know ) Whereas Lescott Id just look away laughing at the thought of getting 24 million for him

So, when Citeh come to Goodison on January 16, imagine the applause when one of the Toffees sends Lescott for a spill....

A fair play but definitely a hard challenge - perhaps a Fellaini flying elbow?
