Thank you Mr. Lescott...

Why thanking him? Moyes was the one taking a chance on him, when no one else was prepared to do that. Sure he had a couple of good seasons for us, but he shat on us in the end. He is for a large part to blame for the mess we're in right now. He always was a mercenary and proved that beyond a doubt during this saga. He got paid for his services, no need to thank him. So please [Poor language removed] off mr Lescott.

Thanks for 2 good seasons

thanks for ruining our team spirit too.

That,

Goat this:-

Thank you Joleon for crapping all over the fans who cheered you, the manager who had faith in you, shitting on your team mates, screwing up the season start due to your poor attitude.

Thanks a bunch.

That,

And thanks for the cash.

On the other hand if Mr Lescott were to say publicly that he only left us for the cash, I'd be happy to eat my words and give him major respect.

It's a tough one really, he's been an excellent player for us and has helped us develop as a club over the past three years but his attitude over the past week or so has been very disappointing. He really has left us in a [Poor language removed] situation.

I don’t blame him for wanting to leave, he’s joining a for more ambitious club who will double his wages. But I did expect him to show some professionalism and realise the situation Everton football club are in at this moment in time. Maybe that’s just me being naïve though, there’s no loyalty in football nowadays.

But who knows, maybe this money will give us that boost we really need and Moyes will work his magic in the transfer market. I hope that’s the case and we can move on.

when rooney left us, he took our only genuine chance to become ace again quick.

that's why that hurt so much.

i don't really think if anyone is honest that trading joleon lescott for 24 million pounds is going to hurt everton that much.

It's not hurting us, it's hurting moyes reputation. I do not take his words that seriously anymore after lescott and benega saga.

Thank you Joleon for the honourable way you have left the club and thank you for appreciating all the support the fans have given you. Oh, that didn't happen did it.

Well thanks for the money then.

This is the saddest thing of the whole affair. Moyes looks like a complete fcuking tool, despite the 'rescue spin' being put in place. Maybe he'll think twice about declaring himself in control of the football club. The most asinine statement of the summer.

i agree it's all toss, but in comparison to rooney they are not in the same league for how fans feel hurt.
