When it got 1-1, I was worried at that point, other than that I wasn't.

I was going mental at the pen and also screaming with the Howard one.

:)

Red and white specs and all that
Heh understandable, before the replay I thought Howard grabbed it outside the box too.

Injuries to barkley, mirallas, stones, barry and mccarthy.

Could you of picked 5 players who are more key to our team. Couldnt make it up. Mind boggling

......weird how a crop of bad injuries happen. Barry will be missed but compared to last season we do have solid cover in that area. In fact, it's probable that both Gibson and Besic will start against the Hammers with Ledson the back-up.

He's not. He does a few step overs. His pace is a myth as I can't remember a time he blitzed passed a fullback. In the last 2 premier league games we've not scored from open play and I'm struggling to find a time he created anything bar a cross. So saying he's been our best player doesn't ring true.

His crossing and decision making are inconsistent. He's an impact player for 20 minutes for me.
Then its confirmed then. You're blind mate.

In the 60 minutes he was playing today, he didnt put a foot wrong. What more do you want from a winger !! He is taking people on, crossing into the danger area, neat little one two's, has been linking up well with coleman of late, he is very direct and today especially... his tracking back and helping out coleman was exceptional. What more did you want today mate? Not good enough.... behave will you.

The last 3 games he has stepped it up and frankly, he shouldnt have come off in ANY of those games. He was right to look confused and a little dejected today coming off because im sure he is thinking, like I was, what more could he of done.

He was good today and McCarthy aside, was our best player. If you cant see that, then this convo is over as im wasting my time.

It went straight through the wall. Look at the trajectory, goals scored from free kicks never fly in that low.

I have long been of the opinion that goalkeepers should dispense with walls and trust themselves if a fellow has a shot from twenty five yards out and they are seeing the ball all the way.

The wall obscures your view plus there is a greater danger of the ball deflecting past you into the net than the bloke actually scoring directly from it.

Worrying news about Barry. Not convinced McCarthy's is serious. Wouldn't have played on with a dodgy hamstring, would imagine it's just fatigue and he'll withdrae from Ireland squad and have 2 weeks off.

...not sure if he had to stay on because we had used all our subs (Gibson, Osman, Naismith). Good job he did as he made a key clearance off he line. I reckon he wont be ready for West Ham.

So does the manager.

Don't say that lad you'll be called a kopite for expecting more of a side that finished 5th last season.

Moyes became stale as he knew their was no expectations from the board or fans to deliver, and sadly bobby will go the same way as the fans don't expect anything more. I guarantee boos rang out at WHL today and rightly so if your team consistently isn't performing week in week out
