...not sure if he had to stay on because we had used all our subs (Gibson, Osman, Naismith). Good job he did as he made a key clearance off he line. I reckon he wont be ready for West Ham.

What I'm saying is Roberto would have taken him off with 5 minutes left if he had seriously damaged his hamstring as that could be the different between weeks and months. Obviously it wasn't serious so he left him on.

From the Leicester, Arsenal, Palace, Utd and Sunderland games, we could just have easily gotten another 5 points, which would put us 4th. Small margins etc. The team will settle and we'll have more games like Lille and Villa and less games like Swansea and Sunderland. I'm confident.

Well you guys just had a taste test of what the Hyundai A-league is like. We get that pedesdrian dross every week over here. Zero intensity and noboby felt like winning. I had never really watched a game from the premier league where a lack of spirit was so evident.
English football is dying. When virtually every team in the league are trying to be 4th rate Barcas excitement levels are nil for long periods. Football doesn't have to be full of technically gifted footballers to be good to watch otherwise no one would watch football out of the top leagues. It's why you can be entertained as much by a Sunday morning park game as a PL game.

I'm watching Swansea-Arsenal. Absolute dross, played in a silent stadium. Half the crowd probably asleep. But never mind, full of technically gifted footballers..............

Small margins exactly. That chance in the last minute against Swansea.

People writing off a season 11 games in and calling the manager for all sorts without taking in to account the extra games in europa league and the injuries we've had.
How about the lack of league Cup games then? And haven't all other teams had lots of injuries? These sort of excuses just don't hold water mate.

The Gibbo bashers in here are clueless scrotes. Pre-conceived notions that were written down weeks/months/years ago. First bit of serious PL action in over a year. He did alright. More touches than anyone on the park (98) with 94.2% passing completion. Completely the opposite of anonymous, lazy and wasteful as he's being called by some. At least we can tell who actually watches the games and has an IQ greater than that of a peanut.

In general it was an ok performance. The ref screwed us and we missed a couple of decent chances. Disappointing, but not the end of the world.

The 28m we spent on Rom could have been much better spent on 2-3 first team players

Namely a winger and a number 10 who can actually create goal scoring opportunitys

not sure if serious

Very serious mate. There was not one centre half in the Premiership who liked playing against Davies cos he was tough as old boots and gave better than he got... And scored goals.

Dunc was a great player for us, his worth as the offensive coach is yet to be proven. I hope he makes it, but we can't afford to be overly sentimental. Actually, Big Joe might be able to help Rom too.

Was convinced.

In trouble with my 7 year old for calling the ref a useless [Poor language removed] on several occasions
I thought your lot played well. You could have nicked it at the end. A draw is a fair result. Good luck with the rest of the season and hope you stay up. Proper club, fans, etc

.....he's the ultimate pro, though, and wouldn't want the team down to 10. The problem is that a pull can turn into a tear and if you look at him stretch as the ref blows the final whistle you can imagine he's made it worst. He might have got away with it.

Quick question: at what point will you get tired when you realise people aren't biting, and place your rod and reel away?

Honestly that is a serious post

I think it would have benifted the first team a lot more bringing in 2 or 3 quality players with that 28m
