Well you guys just had a taste test of what the Hyundai A-league is like. We get that pedesdrian dross every week over here. Zero intensity and noboby felt like winning. I had never really watched a game from the premier league where a lack of spirit was so evident.

Theyve had there little moments already, you could tell by the way they were just hoofing it and letting the fellas up front chase towards the end that there tiring

Doesn't matter how well we play or how sh** the opposition are. They always get on top at some point.

Just not good enough at the moment in the league. If teams sit back we lack the ability to break them down. Some players just aren't performing. Lukaku is hopeless at the moment, first touch is just awful.

Over the last few weeks we have sorted the defence out but we have lost something going forward.

Dire result giving how useless Sunderland are, Mirallas is such a big miss. The way things are going we don't look like challenging for fourth place. And considering how poor the other teams are that's very disappointing. Rom was shocking today, he should have got the hook and put Naismith on up top or push Etoo on instead. 4 points dropped last 2 games GUTTED

Not the best but:

- Above the shyt on goal difference in mid November
- Only three points off a Europa League spot (well 6th, but that may well become a spot when Chelsea pish the Milk Cup).
- We lost Barry early doors - always a mitigation
- If the ref had done his job properly and sent off Wickham and Gomez we'd have wasted them
- Baines has redeemed himself, very important after missing the last penalty

I am very disappointed with the result, the performance was nowhere near as bad as some are making it out to be.

Europa league is obviously affecting us as a squad but I would rather we be in it an taking it seriously than ducking it off and not learning anything.

Despite Mason getting the decisions right he completely bottled not sending Gomez or Wickham off. How either were not reds is beyond me.
