Are they going to go a full 90 minutes at home without having a single considerable spell of pressure? Doesn't often happen.
Theyve had there little moments already, you could tell by the way they were just hoofing it and letting the fellas up front chase towards the end that there tiring

Not our best half, McGeady been one of our best players in the first half, Barkley has some good touches, we need to get Barkley in the game more, we're missing Naismith for his aggression but he rested after playing in the last game, will need to come on as a sub around 65 mins if we haven't scored by then. Gibson been poor but expected after his lay off but he doesn't work as hard as barry and never will, cos that not who he is. Besic would have been a better option. Looks like Martinez doesn't trust him enough right now. Coleman is rusty. Distin annoyed me with his crap passing. Baines also needs to be on the ball more.

besic is more of a like for like for mccarthy and then gibson is for barry - think that's what it is more than no trust.

with the way sunderland have sat so deep, having two box-to-box players may have been better though

Stoke look good vs Spurs Maybe there is something to this Europa League knackering teams...we look very flat

Nope there isn't. It never gets mentioned in regards Champs Lg which is the same amount of time between games. Spurs are tosh, we're playing away from home and Sunderland are sitting deep when we attack. Hard to get through them without someone who can thread through a killer pass - we haven't had one of them since Arteta circa 2010. Hopefully it'll come - but we need to get players in the area

I think we all agree Naisy needs to see the pitch ASAP... but for whom?

Might get flamed here, but while Lukaku and Eto'o is a great concept, it seems counterproductive in practice. No focus on the attack whatsoever. Eto'o has shown to hold the ball very well, can attack or set up. whereas Rom is sailing balls 30 rows into the crowd. Lukaku off, Naismith to play behind Eto'o?

Eto'o
Barkley Naismith McGeady

Our season in the league is over. We don't have the players to break teams down. As a result we'll drop too many "easy" points.

By 10 games in you know what season it will be.

Arsenal City Liverpool Spurs Utd all doing the same though
