It's supporters like you that is the reason why we have a spineless team who are playing for a point against SUNDERLAND

David moyes come back your unambition fanbase wants you back to be happy taking knives to a gunfight against relegation fodder

We played for a point !!!! Deary me fella.
Only one team wanted to win that today....Us.
Yes we were leggy after thursday.
Lost our main man after 10 mins.
Referee absolutely bottled it...should have been playing agst 9 men.
You just revel in this negative crap, turn the record over lad.People like you cant wait to stick the knife in at any given opportunity
go take up cricket....we dont need you around this club.

I was a little down after that match but when I put things into perspective and REALISE we got a POINT and DIDN'T LOSE it cheered me up slightly but now I have gone through this thread and seen the reactions of getting an away point I cannot stop myself from laughing. Thanks lads I have a smile on my face again....please continue with the fume its entertaining.

yep... I personally dont expect martinez to be perfect, but it doesnt mean we have to act like he is! if he messes up, its ok to point out and hope he fixes it!

I love martinez mate last season was fantastic but this season he has been awful and I will call him out on it same way others are more than happy to call lukaku, naismith, mcgeady and howard out when they are below par. The manager isn't untouchable and he's not done enough to escape criticism this season

11 points behind Southampton mate with mirallas, stones and barry out for a while. We have the EL to also contend with whilst they are injury free. Until we come out the EL think it will continue to see us drop points every game after the EL we have dropped points

You're right mate, how will we ever make up an 11 point deficit in 27 games? Not to mention that unbridgeable 4 point gap between us and the Champions League spots. Might as well just write this one off.

Martinez is untouchable mate right now it's the way it is. He could smear [Poor language removed] on the dixie Dean statue and people would still neg rep you for calling him out on it.

Same as the IMWT brigade who couldn't highlight moyes's faults until about the 8th season in and the countless bottle jobs and no trophies. The same will happen again in 6 years if we don't buck our ideas up as the squad we have we should be playing much better
Honestly mate

Some of your posts in this thread today have been kin shocking.

Ratings

Howard - 6 - Did well when needed - dunno what he was doing at the end but it came off. Wasn't his fault for the Sunderland goal.
Coleman - 6 - Why he didn't get forward more I don't know - killed them when he did. Was poor first half and I don't think he links up well with Geads
Jagielka - 7 - Solid again
Distin - 6 - Solid
Baines - 7 - Not his best game or the best pen he'll ever take, but he was still class. The run he did late on was immense.
McCarthy - 8 - Missed Barry alongside him but was our most influential player.
Barry - N/A
McGeady - 6 - Did well first half, but tame in the 2nd.
Eto'o - 6 - Some good play and a great pass for the pen. But otherwise ineffective.
Barkley - 5 - One really good run and should've scored. Isn't a winger.
Lukaku - 5 - Good first 20, poor after that and missed a crucial chance. Shame after a good showing on Thursday.

Subs:
Gibson - 6 - Did fine when he came on but long passes were a bit off.
Naismith - 6 - Pushed us up when he came on and allowed Coleman to get forward.
Osman - N/A

Martinez - 5 - Promising team selection but his tactics were poor today really, by his high standards. Can't play Barks on the wing

Barkley?...what's up with him? Another very average outing.
He's being played in a position which is not familiar to him and doesn't really suit his qualities, which does not help.

Nevertheless, I think he is simply not yet at the races for one reason or another.

His passing is not to the usual standard; he seems unable to control the ball as per what we expect; decision making has been poor.

He'll improve over the season, but I think people need to be realistic to what he can currently offer.

Lille are shocking and going through a really bad run of form.

I'm not. We will probably look much better when Mirallas comes back but until we solve our problem on the left we're going to continue to look really unbalanced.

Everything goes down the middle or sometimes to McGeady on the right. Teams know they can just tuck in their right back and essentially play with 3 center backs, plus when you add the two midfielders we're trying to play through 5 players that you could throw a blanket over.

And Martinez refuses to put crosses in. He has the best delivery of a cross in the premiership and he won't use him. It's a joke.

I'm being honest. If you give Moyes that team he would get us in the top 4.

Apart from that Lille game have we really impressed at all this season? We haven't had a win against a half decent side in the premiership and the only teams we've beat are West Brom (had they won), Villa (on the back of 4 defeats for them) and Burnley (hadn't won a game all season).

In the Europa. We where battered by Wolfsburg even though the score suggests the opposite and the other two results where boring 0-0 draws.

Personally I'm close to giving up on the league. I just hope it is sorted by Christmas so we can have a decent run in the cups.

I Assume you're on about baines? The same baines who is currently on 9 assists? Don't forget pienaar and Oviedo are both injured
