How mate? We are utter pony and have been all season bar our Europa league performances against lille and wolfsburg.

You may be happy to see us losing ground on the top 4 and not taking brilliant opportunities to leap frog our rivals but I'm certainly not.

We've played 11 games, it's far from the season over.

Where have I posted that I'm happy to see us lose ground on the top four? Where has anyone posted that? So why are you stating it. It just marks you out as a bit of a tit when you use stuff like that.

I doubt many people are happy with that result, but I've been on this forum since the first day and the match thread deserve better than this load of crap that yourself and a few others are posting.

So think before you post. Or swerve the match thread for an hour or so, it's not your personal fume therapy.

Martinez is clueless after getting his arse handed to him at wigan week in week out he thought he was Billy big bollocks last season with the pundits blowing smoke up his arse and he's took his eye of the ball.

signing atsu and not playing him

Poor pre season

constant shuffling of the side

Poor team selections square pegs in round holes

Poor substitutions

Seasons nearly over All ready can't be arsed with us at all. Sad thing is the players don't even look happy lukaku was all smiles last season punching floors shouting towards the fans none of that etc. We look poor
LOL

The usual massive negative over reaction on here to an away point in the best league in the world, on a weekend when Spurs have lost at home, Liverpool have come unstuck, City have dropped points...all against opposition they should have beaten. Any success this season, thats a cup or top 4 or 5 will be a bonus, just like getting EL was a bonus last season. We are very early into a long term Martinez project, and are currently making do with players who are either past their best days, injury prone, over achieving, or are yet to realise their anticipated potential . In a couple of seasons...or even after Christmas 2015, Distin and Alkaraz,Osman, Peinnar,Gibson and possibly Jagielka and Barry will be gone, or fringe players, and Coleman, Barkley, Stones, Besic, Lukaku, McCarthy and possibly McGeady will be better than they are now, and Mirallas, Naismith and Oviedo will still be around, hopefully. We are a long way from Martinez finished article. We need good signings in the next three windows, and this will be done gradually. Its a case for Martinez of doing what you can now, and being better eventually. In around 18 months we will see a fully fledged Martinez team. That will be the time to judge.

Thing is, we're not losing ground on the top 4 - we're above Spurs and Liverpool. Its a frustrating afternoon but like you said earlier, Martinez is trying to shoehorn certain players in and it's not working - although I do think that if Barry hadn't gone off we'd have created a lot more chances today.

Not just us, this league in general is utter mince this season, especially when you take into account the finances clubs now have. Week in week out, players cannot control simple passes or do the basics, and they are on a kings ransom in wages. I have watched 4 games this weekend and only enjoyed Warrington on Friday. All heart and desire.

Was it a pen?
And did Howard handle the ball out the box

Haven't seen them back

Happy with the point, thought it was a canny game

yes and no.

not being biased, but your fans needed to cut out the moaning malarky. should have sent off gomez after he called him up for diving and definitely should have sent off wickham for the pen, what is a goalscoring opportunity if that isn't it? not even a yellow.

wouldn't say a draw was too unfair, but you guys had the rub of the green for sure from the officials, despite the volumes of "you don't know what you're doing" etc. from the crowd.
