Martinez is pissing me off for shoehorning in as many as he can up front, it leaves the team without natural width and balance. There's enough games for them all to get a shot. Swansea and today should have yielded at least four points. Instead Newcastle are utter pony and are above us.

judging by the way the team is being asked to play when kev comes back he will stand still playing 5 yd wall passes all day. I've got to say our stile of football at the minute resembles page 1 of the FA coaching manual ( warm up's) split your players into 2 groups 1 group facing the other and play the ball into the opposite players feet and run to the back of the que while he controls it and passes it to the next player opposite him .Repeat until warm.

Lille are shocking and going through a really bad run of form.
I'm not. We will probably look much better when Mirallas comes back but until we solve our problem on the left we're going to continue to look really unbalanced.
Everything goes down the middle or sometimes to McGeady on the right. Teams know they can just tuck in their right back and essentially play with 3 center backs, plus when you add the two midfielders we're trying to play through 5 players that you could throw a blanket over.
And Martinez refuses to put crosses in. He has the best delivery of a cross in the premiership and he won't use him. It's a joke.
I'm being honest. If you give Moyes that team he would get us in the top 4.
Apart from that Lille game have we really impressed at all this season? We haven't had a win against a half decent side in the premiership and the only teams we've beat are West Brom (had they won), Villa (on the back of 4 defeats for them) and Burnley (hadn't won a game all season).
In the Europa. We where battered by Wolfsburg even though the score suggests the opposite and the other two results where boring 0-0 draws.
Personally I'm close to giving up on the league. I just hope it is sorted by Christmas so we can have a decent run in the cups.

yep... I personally dont expect martinez to be perfect, but it doesnt mean we have to act like he is! if he messes up, its ok to point out and hope he fixes it!

Without Mirallas and Pienaar we have no penetration whatsoever. If this was Moyes playing Barkley and Naismith on the flanks and bringing Osman on then he'd be getting slated.
Regardless of players, regardless of manager, our mentality as a club absolutely stinks. No desire to move to the next level whatsoever. We've had countless chances this season but this group of players can't raise themselves above sheer mediocriity as soon as one modicum of pressure or expectation is placed on them. I'd rather play first every single week on a Saturday, as soon as this team sees the other results and an opportunity they choke it. It's the same story every single season. I'm just waiting now for the second half of the season were we go on a boss run under absolutely no pressure until we hit that crunch game either in the cup or league were we will absolutely self destruct with choking fear and then go on about how we were so unlucky just to come fifth by a few points - repeat ad nauseam every single season.

11 points behind Southampton mate with mirallas, stones and barry out for a while. We have the EL to also contend with whilst they are injury free. Until we come out the EL think it will continue to see us drop points every game after the EL we have dropped points

I'm actually furious that 11 human beings didn't play well and win a game of football.
