Sunderland Til I Die - Netflix Doc

Plenty of laughs at Everton though mate.

Depends how a documentary is done.

Louis Theroux with Big Sam would have been gold.

Now you`re talking.

If it was done like that the whole footballing world would watch.

It would make very unpleasant viewing for us though :

" right you lot, non of that fancy dan passing stuff, just boot it up top to the Turkish fella, whose name I don`t know "

Watched it all now, really enjoyed it and felt sorry for some of the people in equal measure. A stark contrast on display between the boy Honeyman, for example, and some of the others like Gibson.

Think it was slightly unfair on the fans at times, making them out to be moaning bastards when there was clearly editing being done. On a few occasions they were clearly moaning about a refereeing decision rather than a missed chance as it was made to look.

Good club sland, moaning bastards at times (like ourselves), but they’re big and followed by the working class who really care. Shame they’re in such a mess.

When it boils down to it, all anyone is arsed about is their own team.
I can't agree with that.If I'm out walking the dog and there's a game on, almost any game, I can't help but stop and watch. I'm not a fan of Warnock but quite enjoyed the doco about him. Likewise stuff on Clough. Best of all is 89, a great watch ( and I was there). Same as with books, I've read loads. Best still is Garry Nelson (who i didn't realise was a blue until i read the book).

This looks a well made doco so I think I'm going to enjoy. no spoilers please ;-)
