Sunderland Til I Die - Netflix Doc

I think it's more the lack of drive than talent.
Rodwell?! No mate, there was defiantly a lack of talent with that lad. I'm sure the lack of drive made him seem even worse the he was but all the drive in the world wouldn't of made him even a half decent player. Just another academy player who everyone overrated at first before he was found out big time.

Martin Bain comes acros as a sociopath who has read a few Malcolm Gladwell books.
Chris Coleman talks in these weird staccato sentences that are full of patronising platitudes to the working class.
Club has been treated shockingly and Bain etc were no different. People lose their jobs and livelihoods when rich men act like bells

I thought Bain made a really good wrist watch model though

That ^^^ is a disgraceful comment and just about sums your contributions up.

It`s not though Dave.

Unless there was some real explosive stuff in it or it was recommended word of mouth, I wouldn`t watch a documentary about the 90`s Man U team, as I have no interest in them as an Everton Supporter.

I`m using them as an example, but you could apply it equally to each and every club.

Do me a 'kin favour. That was the best team in Europe for a spell and won two titles and domestic and European silverware. The very story about them being denied to grow to their full mega potential by Murder Inc is a worthy story on its own to demand a documentary.

'sake, with Evertonians like this lot we dont need Kopites. This club's fanbase flinch that much and cower away from the club's successes they're like a beaten down dog who has no fight left.

"But Dave, no one's interested mate...blah blah 'kin blah".

I watched the first episode and some of 2nd yesterday. Quite entertaining. That Bain fella does love himself doesn't he.
What got me giggling was when Grayson had the team together and was going through some important notes he had scribbled in red ink on a white paper flip chart. Given most professional footballers have an attention spell of no more then 15 seconds I can imagine most were away with the fairies. Scribbled on a flip chart tho! How 1980s.

Dave, I fully understand where you`re coming from, but it was over 30 years ago and no one would be arsed except us.

Sorry, but that`s the truth.
