The sooner we have Villa Forest both Sheffield clubs and Sunderland back in the premiership the better.

Not one person in the world outside of our fanbase would be interested in watching a documentary about us winning 3 trophies in the 80s Dave.

The New Firm in Scotland would make a better documentary. The start of Sir Alex, Dundee Utd almost winning the European Cup, etc

I can't agree with that.If I'm out walking the dog and there's a game on, almost any game, I can't help but stop and watch. I'm not a fan of Warnock but quite enjoyed the doco about him. Likewise stuff on Clough. Best of all is 89, a great watch ( and I was there). Same as with books, I've read loads. Best still is Garry Nelson (who i didn't realise was a blue until i read the book).

This looks a well made doco so I think I'm going to enjoy. no spoilers please ;-)

I heard there is a shock twist where Sunderland stay up on a technicality!

Yeah, you’d have thought that Rodwell could and should have excelled in that league; maybe they didn’t pick him due to the appearance fee thing, maybe he just couldn’t be arsed playing.

He certainly wouldn’t have been paid anywhere near 70k a week elsewhere, so why should he leave? It’s an interesting one as he was tipped to be an Everton legend and his decline was rapid, which suggests it was more because of a lack of effort than lack of talent.

From what I understand he had injury issues

It won’t be as good as the original, especially seeing as they’re not awful this year. I’ll still watch it to see some more of that player liaison officer Leanne though.

The maja situation will be interesting viewing. Oh and when we balls up on the last day, get into the play offs and lose at Wembley, weeks after losing in the checka trade final.

Funny thing is he found his game, then crashed his car while drunk. They might have just squeezed home had he stayed in the team!
